A
public supported foundation dedicated to the propagation of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God as taught in the Holy Bible.
LCF was organized in May 1996
by Dr. Jim Layton as Lighthouse Communications,
Inc. and has since officially changed it's name from Lighthouse
Communications,
Inc. to Lighthouse Christian Foundation.
LCF is a North Carolina non-profit
corporation granted tax exempt status by the
North Carolina Department of Revenue on July 29,1996.
LCF received tax exemption
on November 26,1997 from Federal income taxes
under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Service Code as described
in section
501(c)(3). It was further determined that we are public supported
foundation as
described in section 509(a)(2).
LCF receives its support from
tax deductible contributions, services rendered to
the Christian community, business sponsors and grants.
LCF is govern by a board of directors
and board of trustees.
LCF operates: Lighthouse
Gospel Music Association,
Lighthouse Communications,
The Voice of Faith Network and
Lighthouse Convention Center.
